Taste of Tradition is proud to announce the first of three keynote dinners, to be held in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur in 2018.
The first installment will be in collaboration with Chef Beppe de Vito of Aura Restaurant and Chef Takashi Kimura of Cilantro Restaurant.


Each dinner will present 10 wines of the Southern Rhone Valley producers, featuring 2 vintages each of the red wines of Clos des PapesHommage a Jacques Perrin from Chateau de Beaucastel and, Vieilles Vignes from Domaine de la Janasse. Post dinner digestifs of Vintage and Fine Armagnacs from Casterede and XO Cognacs from Delamain.

Clos des Papes, is a bespoke Domaine in the heart of the Chateauneuf du Pape area, they are well-known for producing one of the most authentic and long-lived examples of the appellation having started estate bottling in 1896. The 2013 vintage retails at S$160.00 and the 2014 S$155.00

Vieilles Vignes, is a cuvee of old Grenache vines from the Domaine de la Janasse estate. The cuvee comes more from the rolled pebble soils the region is famous for, and always shows the richer, more powerful profile imparted from these soils. The 2013 vintage retails at S$161.00 and the 2014 S$165.00

Hommage a Jacques Perrin, is a special cuvee from Chateau de Beaucastel made with grapes from 70+ year old Mourvedre vines. A rarity for its age, these vines at its most northern limit, produces elegant and expressive wines. Hommage a Jacques Perrin are produced in the years when these late ripening varieties give excellent fruit. The 2013 & 2014 vintage retails at S$650 respectively.

Casterede is the oldest known Armagnac house, known for making the finest Armagnacs. The X.O retails at S$153.00 and the 1978 S$143.00

Delamain is one of the top exquisite Cognac houses specializing in XO grade cognacs, and using grapes exclusively from the Grand Champagne area of Cognac. The Pale & Dry X.O retails at S$187.00
