Corton is an Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) and Grand Cru vineyard for red and white wine in Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy. It is located on a hill shared between the three villages of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses and Ladoix in the Côte de Beaune, Burgundy.
The vineyards of the Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru AOC cover the great majority of white wine production on the Corton hill. It is wonderfully optimised for wine production, with concentrated limestone soil and perfect weather and rain conditions. The vines are heady and full-bodied with a beautiful golden glimmer.
The line-up for the evening includes Charmes Chambertin wines by our featured producers. One of the most famous Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, it is also the name of the associated AOC of the wines produced from it. Its terroir is highly complex, creating a wine that is supple and smooth with a wonderful rich structure.
Located at Shangri-La Hotel, Origin Grill & Bar is inspired by the origin of flavours, travel adventures and Singapore’s illustrious history. The restaurant showcases fresh, authentic flavours from unique and quality-driven ingredients.
