Terms and Conditions
Visitors of this site must be of an age at which the purchase and consumption of alcohol is permitted according to the legislation in their Country of Residence.
If there are no laws on this matter, then the visitors must be at least 21 years old. By proceeding, the visitors acknowledge the terms and conditions of this site.
The Standard Terms and Conditions set out herein shall apply to all contracts for the sale of goods or services between TASTE OF TRADITION (ASIA PACIFIC) PTE LTD (“TOT”) and its related companies and its Customers. Upon acceptance of a quotation by TOT and confirmation of the order by the Customer , the Customer shall be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the terms herein, and such terms shall be binding upon the Customer in respect of all subsequent contracts for sale of goods with TOT.
Goods & Services Tax (“GST”)
GST is payable on all goods sold or supplied by TOT to the Customer. For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise stated, all prices quoted in the quotation and/or referred to in the terms herein are before GST.
Discount will be applied upon checkout.
All wines are offered subject to stocks remaining unsold & subject to our written confirmation.
Items saved in Shopping Cart will not be reserved until successful payment transaction is made.
Delivery is made at 12 degrees centigrade and we deliver your wines on the same day for orders received before 10.00 am.
Delivery charges are currently charged at S$ 35.00 per trip. Receive complimentary delivery on orders above S$350.00.
For urgent deliveries (that is, delivery within the same day of receipt of the order by TOT), or deliveries on Sundays and public holidays, a surcharge of S$80 per destination shall apply.
No deliveries will be made on Sunday and public holiday.
Return & Exchange Policy
Upon signing the delivery order, the Customer accepts and confirms that the goods have been inspected, are according to description, and are otherwise in good order and condition.
The Customer shall notify TOT of any discrepancies on or relating to any invoice issued by TOT within 48 hours of receipt of such invoice, failing which the Customer shall be deemed to have accepted the invoice as accurate in all respects.
For any shortage or discrepancy, kindly contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and your request shall be reviewed on a case by case basis.
The probability of corked wines is low and according to research sources, it affects 5% of all bottles wines.
Although the total incidents reported is insignificant, we are willing to accept return of corked wines only of those presented on our List.
We consent to a replacement of the bottle upon verification by our personnel, on condition that the following procedure is adhered to:
- - All suspected corked wines incident has to be reported to us in writing within the next 8 hours from opening of the bottle.
- - The suspected corked wine must be re-capped with original cork and retained in your wine fridge until our personnel collect or verify the bottle at your premise.
- - The content of the bottle has to be at not less than ⅞ or 88% full.
- - The bottle must be procured from us within the last 14 days.
- - All corked wines will be replaced with another bottle of the same wine. However, should the same wine not be available for the replacement, a substitute or sales return will be permitted in this case.
- - The concession of a replacement will remain at our management’s discretion.
- - Should there be any manipulation to the bottle suspected, our management reserves the right to refuse replacement.
Unless the customer has an approved credit account with TOT, payment must be made in full at the time of delivery of goods, failing which TOT reserves the right to retain the goods , without prejudice to any of its other rights.
Where the customer has an approved credit account with TOT and payment is made by way of cheque, the cheque is to crossed and be made payable to “Taste of Tradition (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd” and mailed to the following address : “15 Little Road #02-01 Singapore 536988”
Retention of Title
The legal and beneficial title to the goods shall remain solely and absolutely with TOT until full payment for the goods is received.
Notwithstanding anything herein, the risk for goods sold or supplied by TOT shall pass to The Customer upon delivery of such goods to them.
Liability of TOT
TOT and its related companies shall not be liable for any failure to meet its obligations which may be caused by circumstances which are beyond its control.
TOT’s liability for non-delivery, late delivery, or for any other failure to meet their obligations whatsoever under a contract for sale, shall be limited to the aggregate value of the goods sold under the said contract for sale, such value being determined by the price of the goods as set out in the quotation.
